Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know Before You Order

Quantities, samples, pricing, payment, shipping, documentation and quality — answered. If your question isn't here, contact us directly and we'll be glad to help.

Ordering

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Minimums depend on the product and whether it's supplied from stock or sourced to order. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and we'll confirm terms. Smaller quantities can often be consolidated with other shipments out of Dubai.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes. Samples are available for most lines — spices and dry fruits in particular are usually approved on a sample first. Sample and courier costs are confirmed at the time of request.

Which brands do you work with, and where are the goods made?

We work with established producers and manufacturers across our product categories, sourcing directly from producing regions. Brand and supplier details are shared with your quotation, as availability changes with the market, and country of origin is stated on every quotation and certificate of origin. We are not the exclusive agent for any brand unless stated on the quotation.

Can you source something that isn't on your product list?

In most cases, yes. Send a specification, product photo or sample and we'll source it competitively through our supplier network. If we can't supply it at a quality we stand behind, we'll tell you straight away.

Pricing and Payment

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are agreed per order and confirmed in writing on the proforma invoice. Bank details are issued on the proforma invoice only and never change mid-order.

Do you quote VAT-inclusive for UAE deliveries?

UAE deliveries are invoiced on a UAE tax invoice with VAT shown separately. Exports are zero-rated with proof of export.

How long is a quotation valid, and will the price change?

The validity period is stated on each quotation, which is issued in the currency agreed with you — typically AED or USD. Once you accept a proforma invoice within that period, the price is fixed.

Shipping and Documentation

Which Incoterms do you offer?

FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP, with EXW and CFR on request. For buyers inside the UAE we quote delivered to your site or warehouse. Our import / export page explains each term in plain language.

How long does shipping take?

It depends on the route and mode — road within the Gulf, sea from Jebel Ali, or air for urgent items. Transit time is confirmed on your quotation together with the lead time for the goods.

Who handles customs clearance?

On FOB, CIF and DAP terms, clearance is handled by you or your agent — and we supply every document they'll need. On DDP orders and deliveries within the UAE, we handle it.

What documents come with a shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading or airway bill as standard, plus any health, conformity, attestation or legalisation documents your port of entry requires.

Can you combine different products in one shipment?

Yes. Mixed consignments — for example spices and tyre tubes for the same buyer — can be consolidated in Dubai and shipped as one container, which is usually the most economical option when no single line fills a container.

Quality and Certification

How do I know the goods will match the quotation?

Every consignment is checked against the agreed grade or specification before dispatch — quantities, packing and marking verified and supplier certificates collected. Photographs are available on request, and we're happy to coordinate with your own third-party inspector.

What certificates come with the goods?

For food products: health, phytosanitary or origin certificates where your destination requires them. For solar equipment: manufacturer datasheets, test reports and warranty documents. Tell us the destination and any utility approvals needed at enquiry stage, so the right paperwork is arranged in time.

What happens if goods don't pass the pre-dispatch check?

They don't ship until the issue is resolved with the supplier. We will never ask you to accept goods that don't meet the agreed specification.

Are product warranties honoured?

Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, and we supply from producers who document their products properly. We hold that documentation on file so any claim is well supported.
